Had a great time this week working on two little films for our new book ‘my cool campervan’ which is out next week would you believe!…… Books are strange things…they totally pre-occupy you when you are pitching for them…they make you feel rather sick when the go ahead comes through…they completely take over your life when you are working on them….and then you have a big gap when they are over in China or wherever being printed and coming home on a container ship…the gap is such a lovely and satisfying time, knowing that you have produced a lovely piece of work ………And then…the courier arrives with the advance copies…. all fingers crossed that you still are happy….and shortly after the marketing plans get going and the summer is looking filled up again!!…

Being modern folk we are producing two little films to use as a book launch… The first one is in the edit…I’ll be seeing that & working on it tomorrow…but I can tell you it is a little London road trip movie….all shot in fabulous sunshine thank God, and features a Ukulele player and a picnic in Victoria Park.

The second is an artful more documentary style piece…which is half done…but we have more filming to do next weekend.

Both feature cool campervans and their owners from the book……a bit of a mix between behind the scenes and a director’s cut I guess.

London looks so great when the sun shines and it’s way too easy to talk a lot about projects and not actually do them…. these two have been great to do…truly fabulous and I’m very excited to be shortly able to show you the results, they’ll be here on our website and on You Tube etc.
