Tim Walker’s genius.

Are you like me here?… there is nothing like an exhibition that is nearing it’s closing date to make one hurry along and see it? What is that all about?

As a stylist, I can’t help but look at the work of the very talented ‘A’ list fashion and portrait photographer Tim Walker and be transfixed by the beauty and confidence of his vision, and the fact that the image is realised in such a precise and perfectly magnificent way.

I find much there to inspire and stretch my thoughts and imagination. Dining tables and chairs up trees, giant dolls, models as models but also as half human articulated puppets. But along with this are some significant portraits, including the incredibly simple, beautiful, but poignant image of Alexander McQueen wearing a white shirt, against a white background, with both him and a skull smoking cigarettes.
