My Cool Campervan: Myrtle
Myrtle is a 1964 Dodge Travco motorhome. However, the owners have made her into more than just a motorhome, as she’s now a mobile museum in homage to the glorious “glamping” of yesteryear.
The Dodge Travco has a shape reminiscent of a coach, with a great deal of vintage charm. It has always been well regarded, in terms of being a quality build, and respected for its toughness.
Myrtles beauty, her stately proportions and full-scale fittings are much appreciated by her current owners, who have restored and refurbished the van with vintage items. They have also added many solar powered extras making Myrtle as sustainable as she is beautiful.
